Graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Ordained in 1968 he has pastored churches in Illinois and Texas. He has served as Pastor of this church since 1984. He also served as Secretary/Treasurer of the West Texas Assemblies of God from 1978 to 1984. Assistant District Superintendent from 1989 to 2017. He has two daughters, five grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Worship & Outreach pastor - Phil McGechie
He graduated from Central Bible College in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible and was ordained in 1996. Previous to coming to First Assembly, he was on staff at First Assembly in Miami, Oklahoma for 12 years serving as Associate and Music pastor. He has been in full time ministry for over 27 years and is a second generation Assemblies of God minister. He is not married, has no children, grandchildren, or pets but is open to all possibilities.

yOUTH pASTOR - mARC sILVA
Before becoming First Assembly of God Children Pastor, Marc attended Wayland Baptist University hoping to get a degree in Criminal Justice. Meanwhile Marc served in a summer internship as an assistant youth pastor, and as God would have it, was called down a different path. Putting down his criminal justice journey, Marc went on to get his Pastoral certification in School of Ministry. He now serves First Assembly of God as the Youth Pastor. He and his wife Kandi have four kids Mathew, Adrian, Alexis, and Brianna.

CHILDREN'S PASTOR - Sarah HALL
Sarah graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a major in Children and Family Ministries and a minor in World Missions. She is also an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God. She has served as a Children's Pastor since 2009. She is from Oklahoma City, but has established her home here in Lubbock, Texas with her husband, Caleb.
